Porta Potty

Portable Toilet Rental in California

Portable toilet rental in California is a chemical toilet set on a jobsite or event, serviced and pumped on a schedule. Cal/OSHA Title 8 Â§1526 requires one toilet facility for each 20 employees of each sex, and one single-user toilet is enough when the crew is under five. JMJ Construction Service routinely services standard units weekly from the Santa Ana yard.

Clean, Reliable Portable Toilets Delivered Fast Across California

Portable Toilet Rental for California jobsites

Title 8 §1526 allows chemical toilets where a sewer or water line is not available. Units must stay clean, in working order, private, and stocked with toilet paper. Mobile crews with ready transport to a nearby toilet are exempt. Handwashing is a separate rule under Title 8 §1527: washing facilities at construction jobsites, with soap or another cleanser. A toilet without a handwash station does not cover that section.

Count heads, not “a couple of units.” One facility per 20 workers of each sex is the construction floor. Events and film sets often need a tighter service interval than the construction minimum because use is compressed into hours.

  1. Peak headcount, not the average crew.
  2. Split by sex if separate facilities are required; under five employees, one all-gender single-user unit meets the exception.
  3. One ADA unit where the public or an employee who uses a wheelchair has to reach the toilet.
  4. One handwash station beside the toilets, not across the site.
  5. Service interval: weekly on a standard construction site; daily on a high-use event.
  6. Jobsite ZIP, set date, and pickup date.

Standard Porta Potty

Our most popular and budget-friendly option. These reliable units include a toilet, urinal, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer. Perfect for most construction sites, short-term jobs, and general use where basic functionality is needed.

Deluxe / VIP Porta Potty

A step up in comfort and cleanliness. These upgraded units feature a flushing toilet, sink with running water, mirror, paper towels, and better ventilation. Ideal for events, corporate gatherings, film sets, and higher-end job sites where guest or worker comfort matters.

ADA Compliant Units

Fully accessible portable toilets designed for wheelchair users. These units offer extra interior space, grab bars, lower toilet height, and easy-access doors. Required for public events and recommended for any project needing inclusive facilities.

Luxury Restroom Trailers

Our premium solution for high-end needs. These climate-controlled trailers include multiple flushing toilets, sinks with hot and cold water, mirrors, lighting, and heating/air conditioning. Perfect for weddings, large events, executive job sites, and long-term upscale projects.

How many units, and how often they are pumped

A 12-person remodel meets the under-20 construction floor with one toilet if the under-five exception does not apply and the sex split is handled. A 40-person commercial site needs two facilities per sex under §1526, not one shared unit. Add an ADA stall when the site is open to the public or an employee needs it. Add a handwash station at the same cluster.

Weekly service is the construction default: pump, restock paper, and wipe down. Events can be serviced daily. A unit left past the scheduled pump date is the usual odor and citation problem, not the brand of the tank. Orange County and Los Angeles deliveries are often 24–48 hours after the ZIP and count are confirmed. Sacramento and other northern drops need a confirmed window. Removal and final pump are part of the rental.

Follow-up questions on count and service

1. How often do you service the units?

Standard construction sites receive weekly service. Events can be serviced daily if needed.

2. What’s the difference between standard and deluxe units?

Deluxe units include a flushing toilet, sink with running water, mirror, and better ventilation.

3.  Do you provide ADA-compliant toilets?

Yes, we offer fully ADA-compliant units with extra space and accessibility features. Wider interior, grab bars, lower seat, wider door. One ADA unit does not erase the §1526 count.

4. Can I rent for just one weekend?

Absolutely. We offer flexible short-term and long-term rentals.

5.  Do you serve all of California?

Yes — strong coverage in Orange County, Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Sacramento, San Diego, and beyond.

6. Handwash station included?

Only when it is on the quote. §1527 is not met by sanitizer alone.
