A day is fine for one lateral. A week of weather delays costs more than the monthly. Ask for all three numbers.
Ride-ons usually need a trailer and a truck that can tow the weight. Walk-behinds often go on a ball hitch if we send a trailer. Confirm GVWR. Fuel is not in the rate.

Bare rental unless you booked an operator. First-timers stall the chain, bury the boom, and pay for teeth. Ten minutes of walkthrough at pickup is not training.
Wear from dirt is expected. A wrapped chain on rebar, concrete, or a unmarked slab is on the renter. Same as a broken chain on a mini-trencher yard sheet.
